PT Pipes
PT :: Bio

PT was fifteen years old the first time his CD player came into contact with a copy of 'Texas Flood'. He spent the next 39 minutes with his jaw on the floor, and he has spent much of the next decade and a half trying to pick it back up again.

PT much of his time collecting rejection slips from the fiction editors of the world. Writing and playing music is another personal and extremely rewarding avenue of creative expression. His musical loves are the blues, 70s rock and modern indie artists. With Six-String Bliss, PT has found an avenue that lets him express his creative side and gives him a great excuse to spend way too much time thinking and talking about music.

His guitars are a 1983 Stratocaster, the guitar considered by some to be the low-point of Fender's history, and a 2006 Benford. Fascinated by the flexibility and sound quality technology affords the adventurous modern guitarist, PT loves to rattle windows by running his Guitar Rig 3-armed laptop into his shimmery-clean Fender Stage 212 solid state amp. He is still on a lifelong pursuit of the perfect acoustic.

He lives in western Wisconsin with his wife and daughter and could hit the Mississippi River from his backyard with a well-thrown Frisbee.
