Pipes :: Bio
Pipes had his first guitar for about ten minutes before he pulled out a screwdriver and started taking it apart to see what made it tick. Within a couple of months, Pipes was a regular at the local music shop's pickup counter and spent countless hours digging through the box of spare parts.
This DIY attitude has permeated every aspect of his life and led directly to the creation and development of Six-String Bliss.
Never one to be driven by popular taste or opinion, Pipes has forged his own path. Whether designing websites or digging through boxes of vinyl at the flea market, he always brings that patented Pipes enthusiasm. He rocks out to punk, rockabilly, blues and metal with equal abandon. You are as likely to find him playing with his kids as playing his prized Hammond on a Friday night.
A Dean Hardtail with customer Searcy S-90s, a Fender Big Apple Strat and a Benford customer Tele with Searcys and a Fishman Powerbridge are his tools of choice. When he wants to get loud, he runs a B-52 head through his Marshall 8412 straight cab. Whatever the equipment, Pipes seeks to live the lifestyle of 'Talk hard; play harder'.
He lives in the Chicagoland area, and his house has a really cool Central Vacuum System. |
